When you open evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit intermittent / erratic retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data-bus powertrain missing message from distance control . So for next fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
138 Possible Causes:
138 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 138 Code
- Inspect all the connections barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
