13789 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start vehicle speed signal, circuit short to b+ and control unit programming, programming not finished is the final reason of the code. |
13789 Possible Causes:
13789 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13789 Code
- Inspect all the connections barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
