The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+ run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed control of valves pump / nozzle, mechanical errors and ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
13785 Possible Causes:
13785 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 13785 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 7 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
