When you open data-bus powertrain, missing message from engine controller (ecu) the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles valve for pump - jet, cylinder 2 (n241), electrical malfunction or camshaft position signal output, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
13778 Possible Causes:
13778 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 13778 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
