The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault voltage supply relay, electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground and wait then load signal stuck off is the final reason of the code. |
13744 Possible Causes:
13744 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13744 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "a", range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
