Diameter in engine fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit or change altitude adaptation, signal out of tolerance is the final reason of the code. |
13742 Possible Causes:
13742 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13742 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger speed sensor, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
