13741 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 2 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start radiator fan (v7), difficulty of movement / blocked or internal control module, driver error is the final reason of the code. |
13741 Possible Causes:
13741 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 13741 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
