13740 Possible Causes:
13740 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 13740 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
