The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit range / performance or change load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
13731 Possible Causes:
13731 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13731 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system vent (n115), valve stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
