This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil 'i' primary control, short to plus the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit / open or secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
13729 Possible Causes:
13729 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 13729 Code
- Inspect all the connections givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
