13721 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel pump "b", low flow / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition switch accessory position, circuit low . So for next intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
13721 Possible Causes:
13721 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 13721 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 1, compensation wire pump current, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
