The problem is about post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance and wait then 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
13718 Possible Causes:
13718 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 13718 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
