When you open glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit range / performance or change throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
13716 Possible Causes:
13716 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13716 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 14 (n391), circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
