This something to do with the intake camshaft timing vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit intermittent mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor oxygen (lambda) sensor b3 s1, heater return coupling and rough road / engine torque signal from abs; electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
13709 Possible Causes:
13709 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 13709 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), no signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
