The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit intermittent retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit or change control module defective is the final reason of the code. |
13706 Possible Causes:
13706 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13706 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay 2 for power supply (b+)terminal 30, range/performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
