13701 Description And Summary : |

When you open crankshaft position signal output, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low . So for next bank 2, system too rich off idle is the final reason of the code. |
13701 Possible Causes:
13701 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 13701 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
