13663 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about camshaft position signal output, circuit / open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground also air leak between maf and throttle body is the final reason of the code. |
13663 Possible Causes:
13663 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13663 Code
- Inspect all the connections friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
