13638 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine exhaust bank 3/4 lambda probes before kat exchanges it can suddenly lead to a significantly more malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground you can see the ignition switch run/start position, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
13638 Possible Causes:
13638 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 13638 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
