The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground also exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration will delay your vw fault. |
13637 Possible Causes:
13637 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 13637 Code
- Inspect all the connections powertrain databus, implausible engine temperature message from inst.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
