13637 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel fired heater, performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit or change oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, heater return coupling will delay your vw fault.

13637 Possible Causes:

13637 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
  • Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 13637 Code

  • Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to ground
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
