13637 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), open / short to ground also exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration will delay your vw fault.

13637 Possible Causes:

13637 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
  • Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
  • Reverse Input Circuit
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance

What To Check After Fixing 13637 Code

  • Inspect all the connections powertrain databus, implausible engine temperature message from inst.
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
