Staring in engine glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles bank 1, system too lean off idle . On the other hand intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
13636 Possible Causes:
13636 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 13636 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), circuit low input
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
