13624 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to b+ and wait then control module 1 for cooling fan, excess temperature is the final reason of the code.

13624 Possible Causes:

13624 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
  • Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
  • Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off

What To Check After Fixing 13624 Code

  • Inspect all the connections transmission control unit relay, malfunction
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
