136 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle actuator control system, forced engine shutdown also valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
136 Possible Causes:
136 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 136 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'd' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
