The problem is about exhaust aftertreatment fuel injector 'a', performance run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit range / performance or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |

13598 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 13598 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
