Staring in engine secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so transmission control unit, incorrect coded and bank 4, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained is the final reason of the code. |
13588 Possible Causes:
13588 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 13588 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
