This something to do with the intake camshaft timing idle speed intervention circuit error message from engine contr. the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles mass-airflow sensor 4 (g457), signal to high or post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit will delay your vw fault. |
13544 Possible Causes:
13544 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 13544 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
