This code were stamped on VW Engine case reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit / open to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit or please check dtc memory of ecu number 2 is the final reason of the code. |
13542 Possible Causes:
13542 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 13542 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
