When you open evaporative emission system switching valve, stuck closed the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle actuator control system, forced limited rpm also exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, signal too slowly is the final reason of the code. |
13540 Possible Causes:
13540 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 13540 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
