13498 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, no activity retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), open circuit or change a/c request b, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
13498 Possible Causes:
13498 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 13498 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 2)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
