This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high also b camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
13497 Possible Causes:
13497 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 13497 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message of the steering wheel electrics
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
