Accumulated in electronic control units so turbocharger (tc)control module 2, faulty causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system power supply voltage terminal 15, open circuit or change oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, lower limit exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
13496 Possible Causes:
13496 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 13496 Code
- Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
