This code were stamped on VW Engine case intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit short to ground and fuel pump circuit, electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
13496 Possible Causes:
13496 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
