Staring in engine post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor signal line for tiptronic: electrical malfunction or o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
13494 Possible Causes:
13494 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13494 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 9 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
