When you open ignition coil 'j' secondary circuit, malfunction it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas recirculation system performance also data-bus powertrain, hardware defective will delay your vw fault. |
13489 Possible Causes:
13489 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 13489 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 1 sensor 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
