When you open relays for small amount of heat (j359), short-circuit after pluses causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open and wait then intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance will delay your vw fault. |
13489 Possible Causes:
13489 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 13489 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), voltage supply outside permissible range
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
