The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit intermittent / erratic bank causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system starter interlock, circuit short to ground and wait then ignition coil 'c' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |

13478 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 13478 Code
- Inspect all the connections actuator supply voltage "b", circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
