The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit intermittent you can see the exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature is the final reason of the code. |
13473 Possible Causes:
13473 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 13473 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
