The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ you can see the throttle actuator control system, forced engine shutdown will delay your vw fault. |
13458 Possible Causes:
13458 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13458 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
