Accumulated in electronic control units so malfunction indication light (k83), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles transmission range display, circuit short to ground or change valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
13458 Possible Causes:
13458 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13458 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
