The problem is about manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit intermittent / erratic and nox sensor bank 2, circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
13449 Possible Causes:
13449 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 13449 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
