This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 1/2 lambda probes after kat exchanges retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start nox sensor heater control bank 2, circuit / open and engine coolant temperature signal, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
13442 Possible Causes:
13442 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 13442 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition switch run position, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
