The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus powertrain, missing message from central electronics the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles coolant fan control module 2, malfunction or change cylinder 10 injector, data incompatible is the final reason of the code. |
13438 Possible Causes:
13438 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13438 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
