The problem is about turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit range / performance It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground you can see the nox sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
13438 Possible Causes:
13438 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13438 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 5 (n244), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
