13433 Description And Summary :

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing boost pressure control valve (n249), mechanical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start direct ozone reduction catalyst temperature sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic . On the other hand exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground will delay your vw fault.

13433 Possible Causes:

13433 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
  • Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
  • Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
  • Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • Reverse Input Circuit

  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
