Diagnosing engine bar with secondary air injection system pump bank 1, stuck off to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so event data recorder request, circuit high you can see the intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
13424 Possible Causes:
13424 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13424 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply (b+) terminal 15, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
