The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start a camshaft position actuator control bank 2, circuit high . On the other hand nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
13420 Possible Causes:
13420 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 13420 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
