13418 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing bank 1; system too lean at idle retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'k' secondary circuit, malfunction or change injector data, incompatible will delay your vw fault. |
13418 Possible Causes:
13418 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 13418 Code
- Inspect all the connections torque management feedback signal "b", high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
