13418 Description And Summary : |

When you open engine torque reduction, fault retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel pump, electronics faulty or throttle control: airflow at idle too low is the final reason of the code. |
13418 Possible Causes:
13418 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13418 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure regulator, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
