13406 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit intermittent retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), implausible signal and wait then ecm/pcm power relay sense, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
13406 Possible Causes:
13406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13406 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 16, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
