13401 Description And Summary : |

This code were stamped on VW Engine case transmission coolant circuit relay, short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too low . On the other hand secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic is the final reason of the code. |
13401 Possible Causes:
13401 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13401 Code
- Inspect all the connections 'b' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
