13400 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with transmission control unit, incorrect coded causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system injector control pressure, erratic also relays for small amount of heat (j359), disconnected or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
13400 Possible Causes:
13400 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 13400 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circut high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
