134 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to b+ you can see the malfunction indication light (k83), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code.

134 Possible Causes:

134 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
  • Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
  • Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
  • Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
  • Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

What To Check After Fixing 134 Code

  • Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too small
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
