13398 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control unit error programming error it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ignition coil 'b' secondary circuit, malfunction and wait then barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit high will delay your vw fault. |
13398 Possible Causes:
13398 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 13398 Code
- Inspect all the connections park/neutral switch input circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
