The problem is about clutch torque adaptation 2: adaptation limit reached retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed . So for next nox sensor bank 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
13398 Possible Causes:
13398 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 13398 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
