The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start idle speed control throttle position 2, electrical malfunction or givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too largely will delay your vw fault. |
13396 Possible Causes:
13396 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13396 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
