The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit or change engine coolant bypass valve, control circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
13396 Possible Causes:
13396 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13396 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump circuit, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
