The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault glow plug / heater relay, circuit open / short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, no activity or change intake manifold runner bank 1, high temperature is the final reason of the code. |
13389 Possible Causes:
13389 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 13389 Code
- Inspect all the connections speed signal error message of the abs controller
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
