This something to do with the intake camshaft timing data bus powertrain, missing message from instruments panel ecu to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so cylinder 5 above knock threshold or load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
13338 Possible Causes:
13338 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 13338 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'f' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
