This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 5 (n233), electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit high and vehicle speed sensor 'b', range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
13338 Possible Causes:
13338 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 13338 Code
- Inspect all the connections air leak between maf and throttle body
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
